What you will be able to do

  • Summarize a long email thread and pull the decisions and actions out of it.
  • Draft an email with Copilot, then adjust it for tone, length and wording.
  • Improve your own draft with Copilot Coaching.
  • Find an information in your mailbox by asking Copilot Chat a question.
  • Schedule a meeting from an email and prepare for it.
  • Check what Copilot produces, and know what it can and cannot see in your data.

The method

One request = one objective, one context, one source, clear expectations: the O·C·S·A method, refined afterwards through the conversation.

Module outline

Sequence by sequence, timed.

  1. 010:00 – 0:15 · Welcome, expectations, what Copilot is
  2. 020:15 – 0:35 · Asking well: the O·C·S·A method
  3. 030:35 – 1:00 · Read less: summarize a thread and an attachment
  4. 041:00 – 1:30 · Write better: Draft with Copilot and Coaching — then a 10-minute break
  5. 051:40 – 2:00 · Find and sort: Copilot Chat on your mailbox
  6. 062:00 – 2:15 · Agenda: schedule and prepare a meeting
  7. 072:15 – 2:30 · Trust, limits, quiz and commitment

The habits

  1. 1

Summarize before replying to any thread longer than five messages.

  2. 2

Ask with O·C·S·A, then refine through the conversation.

  3. 3

Re-read and verify: dates, amounts, names, citations.

  4. 4

Keep your voice: Copilot writes the first draft, you sign it.

  5. 5

Follow the company rules on sensitive data.
