190:25Confidentiality: what Copilot can and cannot see
You know exactly what Copilot can read in your data, and what it refuses, before you paste anything sensitive.
Catalogue · PA for EXEC — a typical week for the executive assistant
You query the team documents published on the SharePoint site, and you get back to the original document behind every citation.
Space: play · ← →: 5 seconds · M: sound · F: full screen
The exact sequence, in order.
Open Copilot Chat in the browser and click “Sources”.
Add the “Projet Atlas” SharePoint site as a source, then check that the six documents are listed.
Ask your question with that source selected.
Open the citation to get back to the original document, and check that the answer really comes from the site.
Word for word, exactly as shown in the video.
Using only the documents on the “Projet Atlas” SharePoint site, what decision was taken on the Atlas budget? Cite the document and the paragraph.
The habit to keep
You no longer paste a document into the chat: you ask, and the site hands you the page.
Worth knowing
What the video does not hide from you.
Copilot only sees what the account can open on that site: a document that is not shared, or that sits behind a permission, stays invisible. Check the citation before you reuse the answer. This capsule exists in French only: the site has no English documents yet, so the English version has not been shot.
